Frequent Headaches and Fatigue

It has truly become commonplace these days listening to family members, friends and co-workers complaining about the frequent headaches and fatigue they are dealing with daily. Many will chalk it up to what appears to be the non-stop pace at which it seems everyone is going these days. To some extent this may be true and if so positive lifestyle changes might be implemented to see if they alleviate the problem. In many situations however, there can be and often is other factors involved. Let’s take a look at some of those now.

There are a number of diseases which can cause the problem of frequent headaches and fatigue in a person. Among these are hypothyroidism, candida, sleep disorder, borderline anemia, diabetes, hypoglycemia and adrenal fatigue. Many will simply look past these possibilities believing they don’t apply to them because they have never been diagnosed with these before. What they don’t realize is just how common some of these things are and how they can effect so many without them knowing it or accepting it. An example of this is adrenal fatigue which researchers have come to agree upon affects 80% of the population at one time or another in their lives. Also, hypoglycemia or consistently low blood sugar is found to be present in so many. In the case of these different diseases, a person can be checked by their physician and if one or more are discovered be put on an approved medication designed to deal with it.

Some other factors to look at that can be a cause of the frequent headaches and fatigue are things such as constipation, hypersensitivity and anxiety. In the case of the first one what happens is the body unable to pass them out builds up toxic substances. This then requires increased demand on the body’s resources to combat the problem and that leads to the other concern.
The hypersensitivity and anxiety make the heart work harder and faster, and that combined with the constant sweating they bring on contributes to it’s feeling emotionally and physically drained all the time.

Of course, job stress, depression, grief and insecurity are all potential problem issues to be dealt with. And if a person is abusing themselves with drugs, alcohol and smoking, this will be a problem.

The good news is there are positive steps one can take to deal with frequent headaches and fatigue. Without question, they should consult with a physician and take tests related to finding a cause for the problem. On their own they can try and eat a healthy balanced diet, drink lots of water, plan some sort of physical exercise such as walking for those not into heavier things, and explore the benefits of meditation or yoga. These are all positive steps that will hopefully help deal with the problem.
